This year the PROMTECH group of companies successfully completed its project as part of construction of a new woodworking integrated plant – Pavlovsky Woodworking Plant (Pavlovsky DOK) in Pavlovsk (Altai Krai, Russia). The plant will be a part of the forest holding company Altailes corporate group, who has planned wood raw material full processing at this plant. The total area of the territory is 54 hectares, and the workshops occupy an area of more than 30,000 m2. The total investment in the project is estimated at 6 billion rubles.

“Altailes” is one of the largest companies in the Russian forest industry engaged in wood harvesting and processing. Currently it unites 25 forest enterprises of the Altai Krai forming a single powerful forest industry complex of this region. The number of employees is more than 6,000 people and the annual volume of harvested raw materials is more than 1,800,000 m3.

Pavlovsky woodworking plant will focus on the production of MDF plates. The equipment will ensure producing of plates of various formats from 2440x1220 mm to 2800x2070 mm with a thickness of 2.5 to 40 mm with a volume of up to 250,000 m3 per year. The plates will be produced according to standard technology by hot pressing of a wood fiber combined with a binder based on urea-formaldehyde resins.

For this project, the PROMTECH group of companies supported and accompanied the supply of equipment of Andritz AG (Austria), which is a manufacturer and technology leader of chip preparation and disintegration under pressure as a part of MDF production line. Within the project we have adapted and developed technical and operational documentation and also prepared commissioning permits including certificates of conformity with the technical regulations of the customs union ТR CU 010/2011 “On safety of machines and equipment” and ТR CU 032/2013 "On safety of high pressure equipment".

At the moment, the construction of a new woodworking plant Pavlovsky DOK is at the final stage and will be successfully completed soon.

We thank our partners sincerely for interesting tasks and positive cooperation.
