Concept design for a Leather-Processing Cluster in Uzbekistan

PROMTECH Group has completed the concept design for a modern leather-processing industrial cluster in Uzbekistan. The concept covers the entire industrial value chain – from tanning and leather finishing to cutting and sewing for the production of finished leather goods.

The production halls are functionally organized according to the individual processing stages and interconnected through coordinated material, personnel, and logistics routes.

Planned Production Areas and Buildings

The overall concept includes, in particular:

• production halls for tanning and leather processing,
• areas for drying, finishing, and refining the leather,
• production areas for cutting and preparation,
• sewing and assembly areas for finished leather goods,
• storage areas for raw materials, intermediate products, and finished goods,
• a repair and maintenance workshop,
• two administrative and operational buildings,
• an exhibition and presentation area,
• a wastewater treatment plant,
• a water treatment station,
• an electrical switchgear and transformer station,
• pumping and wastewater pumping stations,
• internal traffic, loading, and maneuvering areas,
• parking spaces for passenger cars and commercial vehicles,
• a gatehouse and control building, as well as
• a control and inspection area for incoming and outgoing traffic.

Integrated Planning by PROMTECH Group

PROMTECH Group developed the overall technical and organizational concept and finalized the concept planning for the cluster. The services include, in particular:

• structuring the complete production chain from tanning to finished leather goods,
• the functional arrangement of the production halls and ancillary buildings,
• planning the internal material and logistics flows,
• designing the energy, water, and utility supply systems,
• integrating water treatment and wastewater treatment,
• taking environmental, safety, and quality requirements into account, as well as
• preparing the subsequent engineering, procurement, and implementation phases.

The completed concept provides a reliable basis for detailed planning, the selection of machinery and equipment, the tendering of supply packages, and the subsequent implementation and commissioning of the leather-processing cluster.
